Got an issue with my 1990 GTUs. Just reassembled it, and put everything back together. This is the first FC I've owned, so I'm pretty new to learning where everything goes on it.
That said, I have no pulse to the Primary (and possibly secondary) fuel injectors. I pulled the injectors off and verified they were clear of debris, and manually fired them with a 12v signal. Wiring diagrams on Foxed.ca show it's controlled directly by the ECU.
Car has spark, and can be bottle fed with starting fluid, and will stay running.
So I have some thoughts on this:
I have an unknown wire that sits over the engine, but beneath the center intake manifold section. It comes near the pulsation damper and secondary injectors, but I'm not sure where it plugs to or what it does, and "Plug under manifold" is wat too broad for Google. I've attached a picture to see the plug in question.
As for the fuel problem, has the ECU possibly gone bad? Car has only been sitting for less than 4 months since it last ran, and has been inside for the majority of that time.
And my other thought, is it possibly the Relay the injector runs through? EGI fuse looks good.
My prior experience comes from working on an '82 12a so fuel injection has me scratching my head! Any help is much much appreciated.
