Slow cranking then fast cranking. Any ideas?

Slow cranking then fast cranking. Any ideas?
When it cranks slow the car won't start. When it starts cranking fast it starts no problem. Takes a few tries to get it to crank fast. Battery is good and so is the alternator. Starter Issue?
I'd hazard a guess that the cables coming off the battery for the power and ground have packed up. Very common problem. There are multiple write ups on how to replace them if you search.
