MI s5 rx7 issues (its my daily)

Hey guys, so after a lot of time and effort via scrolling the forums and diagnosing my car, I have come up empty handed. My 1989 fc has all s5 electronics but an s4 motor. To start off when I start my car it does not idle until its at operating temp and even then its "meh." After maybe 3-5 minutes of driving my car bogs and goes into what I believe to be limp mode, when it goes into this condition I cannot give the car over about 10% throttle. If I give it any more than that it bogs and wont rev. I believe that this is due to the omp going bad, the only issue with that is my ecu will not throw codes. I've tried to ground the diagnostics plug, ive tried to use an led tester and ive even tested the ecu pinout. It seems that the ecu is not giving the MIL a 12v signal. When I received the car it came with an extra ecu that will not run it and the check engine light was removed from the cluster (I replaced it with the coolant level bulb just to test.) I was also curious and tested the TPS and while the lower ranges sweep properly after about 30% of movement it goes dead. My fc is my daily and the only vehicle I have to get me to my college classes and im at a loss currently on what to do next. A standalone is minimum 1500$ and a omp is pretty difficult to come by. Any information or help with this situation would be very much appreciated. My car is decently reliable and I can get a full range of power till about 3rd gear if I key off and bump the clutch, I cant seem to find much info on here, facebook, or reddit and am very stressed over the whole situation... Any help is appreciated.
Thanks everybody
