Rx7 FC 1990 Convertible —> Hard Top Conversion

Hey, I’m new to the site and I recently saw a 1990 rx7 fc that runs and drives for 1,200$. I really like the car and have seen it but the only problem is that it’s a convertible. Is it possible to buy a kit to make it a hard top? I have seen some similar posts but they are all from a while back and I’m not sure if one has been made. So please fill me in if it’s possible or not.

If you want a coupe, by a coupe. No point in hacking up a convertible and spending more than a coupe will cost to make it hard top. Nobody makes a hard top "kit".

I agree with the above. Plus the car will be much heavier than a standard coupe due to the added stiffening that wad added to the convertible. More weight translates into slower acceleration. I would just wait and find a nice coupe for sale.
