Rebuilding a 1998 motor

Does anyone have a range of how much to rebuild or purchase a non turbo motor for a 1988-1991.

Thanks

Your heading says 1998.

In any event, roughly budget US$7500 if you have the work done externally and if you are referring to just the keg.

And assuming you can reuse many of the existing parts.

i have plenty of S4 non turbo engines left to build. i could probably build one with no core charge for around $4500USD plus shipping.

good condition cores now go for around $2k or more.

i have roughly 8 S4 non turbo cores apart(a few turbo S4, and misc FD/FB/S5/RX8 bits but few complete sets left) and am liquidating and retiring so selling off complete motors(rebuilt or not) would be ideal. located in central florida, have built roughly 350 rotaries over my career, just am getting slower and older now so a rebuild would likely require several months lead time.
