Only v8 rx7s on Craigslist now?
Has anyone else noticed that the only rx7s up for sale on Craigslist are all aborted v8 abominations? I remember a time when you could find a running mostly original rx7 for under $1000... I guess those days are over? I paid $600 for my 1980, and traded a sunroof assembly for a rolling 88 shell.

Getting hard to find CLEAN cars. I sold my GXL nearly 12 years ago now and now i'm a bit older with two children I decided the time was NOW to find a clean running unmolsted Rx-7 (2nd gen) to hold on to for a long time. I didn't care Turbo or N.A just wanted it all there.
We'll see what happens in the next 10 years how many more vanish or get crushed. Many have several cars it seems this is the addiction we all have LOL

Yeah. Rarely see any turbo II's on craigslist anymore. Used to always be one or two locally for sale at any given time. Now finding a decent na is few and far between. Most of the v8 swaps I see are almost all hack jobs. Seems people are holding on to their good condition, well sorted cars.

I have no plans on getting rid of my S.A. or gtus. I would like to add a few more to the collection. Seems that rx8s are getting easy to find for under $1500 in need of engine work. There has been a 88 SE with a locked engine on local Craigslist for awhile at $900... but I'm not the biggest fan of SE trim unless it's immaculate .
