Only runs when MAF is Unplugged?

Only runs when MAF is Unplugged?
So I have a ‘89 rx7 has been sitting 8 years new fuel tank, fuel pump, fuel filter, fluids and spark plugs! Got it running but only when the MAF is unplugged! Installed new MAF same thing only run when it is unplugged! Any idea’s???
