do I have a fuel clog?
have disconnected my fuel line from my fuel filter to the engine because I suspect I am not getting enough fuel to run my turbo. When I first crank it over it squirts out in a strong stream, continue to crank and it stops and just sort of dribbles out of the fuel filter. Should I be seeing that strong stream the whole time I am turning the engine over?
I replaced the fuel pump and rewired it. I also replaced the in tank fuel sock. This main fuel filter has been on the car for 9 years just sitting. I thought it was supposed to be a stream of fuel coming out of it the entire time?
My a/f guage says im running lean, and I dont think I am getting proper fuel to the engine

fuel pump?
I just put a brand new walboro 255 fuel pump in, and I rewired it.
I can hear the pump running.
I do have less than a quarter of a tank of gas in the car though.

Your doing things the hard way.
There is a yellow, two socket connector near the afm and boost sensor. Jumper the two sockets together with a piece of wire and turn the key to ON. The pump will run now till the jumper is removed or the key is put to OFF.
With the above condition the flow should remain continuous if there is fuel in the tank.

fuel filter
the fuel filter is the one from 1987. It has actually been sitting up for about 9 years now. I just put a few gallons of gas in the tank and my fuel pressure improved allowing me to revs up a little better under boost. I am still experience some hesitation and the 4000 rpm hesitation, which may be my injectors since they too have been sitting for about 9 years now. I am going to go ahead and replace the main fuel filter and fill the gas tank up. I did find that I have rust in the tank which is why it runs like **** when I am below a quarter a tank of gas. I dont know where to begin with this project. I dont really feel like dropping the tank. I am going to replace the filter first. I am so frustrated.

start with the filter. it should of been done as part of the tune up process. if the filter has been sitting there for 9 years with gas in it that alone would raise an eyebrow or two. replace it and get back to us

There are chemicals that supposedly will clean the tank and there are other chemicals that purport to coat the inside of the tank to prevent additional rust, but I would suggest that you install a new tank, or at least one without rust.

so
I replaced the main fuel filter and it got a lot better, however I still have some hesitation around 3800 rppms, and these are the sdame injectors I have had sitting in the car for the past 9 years. I just ordered some new 720cc injectors with the rtek, and am having the primaries professionaly flowed and tested. I am also replaceing the rusted gas tank and the fuel sock... I will let you all know in a week or two what happens.... if this doesnt fix it, it is definately a ground issue.. but I added some new grounds too, just in case.
