OMP delete on S5 question
Hey guys, I've had my omp blocked off on my S5 T2 for quite a while and just had the entire assembly plugged in and ducked off to the side, cant unplug it or ecu doesn't like it, does anyone know exactly how much of this has to be intact and if only part of it needs to stay plugged in? Thanks

I hope you're adding a good TCW3 rated premix oil in with the gas then. To answer your question, it all needs to be 100% electrically intact with both OMP connectors plugged in on the S5, otherwise the stock ECU will flag and error and put the car in limp home mode as you've probably figured out by now.

Mine is the same way, mechanically disconnected but attached under the airbox area and still plugged in. I believe Rtek has a function to remove the ECU, or of course a full stand alone fuel management would do the trick.
As stated above, Premix is key! I'm 1oz per gal Idemitsu here.
Good luck! -M
