No fuel in secondary fuel rail.
1987 S4 turbo, emissions removed, tb mod, S5 turbo/IC/upper and lower intake.
I'm getting stuck into my fc that's been sitting for 3 years and went through the start up procedure carefully. It started up and idled a little rough (as expected) and I revved it to about 2000 where it sat nicely. I tried to give it a little blip and it choked and died.
I was mostly just checking that the engine was okay. Satisfied with that I began to take it apart to pull the engine. Taking the fuel lines off I noticed it was BONE dry in the secondary rails. I would've thought there would be some fuel there?
Before it was parked up, I couldn't get it to get above about 3500rpm and it was flooding a lot. I unfortunately took a job overseas so it just sat till recently.
I'm wondering, is this possibly a faulty factory fuel pressure reg?
