LIM gasket removal…

Any tips on removing the LIM gasket? I remove most of the gasket but what’s left of it (in the picture) is a pain the *** to get off. Been spraying some carb cleaner and it “kinda” seems to work but haven’t had any luck. It’s really on there and I had already tried going from the outside of the edges.
(the two sides with 6 port prongs sticking out are the “leftover gasket” I was talking about)

Lots of companies make gasket remover for just this type of scenario. It's a slow process, but they do work.

OR

I usually take a flat and rigid sanding block and go at it with some fairly course sandpaper (120ish). Once you get close to reaching bare metal switch to a finer grade (400-600). I usually end up sanding the entire surface of the manifold to ensure a clean surface anyways.

3M bristle.

For use on aluminium, use the softest one available, verry little pressure and don't stay in one spot.

Use these things very often to clean any gasket surface
