How is my car making the power it’s making?

Been wondering this since i got the car 6 ish months ago, but how is my rx7 making the power it makes?
I found a dyno sheet within all the receipts from the car, says it’s making 269 whp, great! definitely feels like it, beats my gfs 09 accord (also 270 hp) no problem.
Question is how? I opened the ecu to look for a chip, nothing, i know it’s at about 10 psi of boost, and i believe it sounds like it could have a port?
Maybe i’m stupid but i don’t get how you make more power without ecu modification.

these things make power with air flow, although you will need to do something with the ecu after that

Stock 1987-88 TII boost is 6psi and 1989-91 TII is 8psi boost.

As stated above the imroved engine breathing allowed by the same modifications that cause the increased boost (from boost creep) give RX7s the double whammy of power increase with mods.
