Question Hello guys Newbies need some help

Hello guys my name is Jerry
I have been in love with rx7 for many years but under many circumstances I was Not able to own a Rx7, until now I came across a really nice car with affordable price in Australia,
I’m looking at a 1988 rx7 Fc infini series 4, this car as to the owner said has been taken preciously cared, it has 206000 km that is 128002 miles. This car was not modified in any way, so its pretty much original from 1988, the seller is asking for 23k AUD which is 16.8k USD. So to my concern how much could i actually buy it off of him from? It’s negotiable.
Also a rotary engine with 128k miles seems never had an engine rebuilt, will it still last? I am really concerned once i purchase this that i might have to pay a lot to rebuild the engine after few thousand km. I am able to get a local rotary specialist to check it out but before all that I’m just curious on average what would the condition of that engine be like after 128k miles?

Thank you guys for helping me out, here’s a pic of that beauty.

At that age, it could go either way. Check out both hot and cold starts, compression test, and have a mechanic give it a once over. After you have the information from those, you can make a more informed decision, but it's always a risk.

Thanks for the reply bro, I’ll make sure to get those checked, so if everything goes fine what would you think the price are at?
