The general headlight bulb is pretty dull to say the least. I know sylvania silver-stars are fantastic replacements for a fair price. My question is has anyone tried the LED replacements or even halogen retrofit OR HID projector retrofits?

Try retrofitting the TSX projectors. That is going to be my next project to see how it does. I know the TSX projectors worked wonders on my other rides.

 

I always recommend Hella E-codes. It fits in exactly like stock and is a semi-sealed beam.. meaning you can simply replace the bulb.

Silverstars are junk in my opinion. The beam optics will still be DOT, and are nowhere near as precise or usable as an E-code.

 

It may be a little late but check out sakebombgarage too. They still have a complete hid kit for the fc on their site.
