Glovebox plug

Glovebox plug

I have a wire in the FC glovebox that I cannot figure out what it is for. I assume it’s for the light, but not 100% sure.

Kinda looks like a USB connection or maybe and Apple propriatary plug. Aftermarket radios use these. Look for the other end! 😁

Thanks. It looks like a modern plug. I sent the previous owner a message to see if he would know anything about it.

If it is still the stock stereo, my guess would be that someone had the original stereo modified for Bluetooth capability.

I think you’re right. It’s definitely not a 1989 item. To see where it goes and find the wiring for the light that should go there I would need to take out the glovebox. Or I can just get the lens and pop in the opening.
