Flange Swap?

I've found someone selling a N/A 1991 Vert that has a blown trans. He is selling it with a TII Trans and driveshaft but it still has a N/A diff. I was just wondering would it be worth my time to swap the flange? Or should i just buy the Mazdatrix TII shaft that fits the N/A diff?( Trying to save some cash if I can)

Not sure how you would go about swapping the flange. Even if you used the Rockford driveline U-joints to replace the staked one the part #s are different for the turbo vs. non-turbo ones. The dia. of the caps are different.

I think I have heard of people re-drilling the flange. The Mazdatrix shaft is probably the easiest solution.

Yeah that makes the most sense I would guess. That drive shaft is still cheaper than buying a new diff. I was just hoping to save a little money
