Build Thread, need help

This thread is so I don't have to make a million threads for all of my build questions, but I might make it a real build thread.

At the moment the engine is disassembled and I want to be sure where to go from here.
Any help would be appreciated thanks!
some background: this engine sat for about three years in a barn before I bought the car, and I have no real idea what happened before that but it was supposed to have been rebuilt before.

front rotor face

front rotor gear and bearing

rear rotor face

rear rotor gear and bearing, I am concerned about the edge on the rotor bearing and I was wondering if I need to replace that.

sorry if I posted too much I have no idea how to make the images smaller and I hate it when people don't provide enough information, thanks in advance for any help.

Probably will need new rotor housings. The groove along the edge and the chrome flaking/ chipping off probably makes those a no go. Front iron has broken coolant seal grooves so it won't be able to be used. Other than measuring the step wear on the housings the rest looks usable. Might be good to make sure the apex seal grooves are in spec as well. All the specs are in the FSM.

The apex seal grooves are almost flared out and kinda sharp, the seals were VERY stuck in there, is that an issue

Could be. There is a spec in the FSM ( Factory Shop Manul) for how wide that groove can be before it's out of spec. I don't remember what it is though. There are links in the FAQ to the FSM. It's also got the step wear specs in it for your irons. If you were going to try to re use them with out lapping them.

I'm going to judge the rotor housings as usable, the chrome flake is in spec, the groove isn't too bad, im in the process of purchasing a new front iron there's lots of sellers who can't tell if its s4 or s5 what differences are there?
I might start a new thread just for that can't seem to find much.

the front iron is pretty similar between S4 and S5. the Casting letter is the quickest way to ID it, S5 NA is a C, S4 NA is an E
the other difference is that all of the S5's have the front cover O ring with the plastic support, only the later S4's have that
the third thing is that the water pump lands are machined so that you do not need the spacers like you do with every other engine

basically for the front iron, the S4 and S5 are really close to the same.

Fuel injectors

I’ve cleaned up most of the carbon from the engine, and removed the side seals with an oxy acetylene torch and a hammer, now I have a question to ask before I start reassembling,

this is my rear rotor primary injector, still seems to function fine but I had a little oopsie and broke the plastic on the tip, does anyone know if I can buy this part somewhere or does anyone have one they would be willing to sell?
thanks in advance for any help

Just received the new (used) front iron I ordered, and it has very slight pit marks, in one spot where a rotor sat (presumably the engine sat in a car for a while and left pit marks along the edge of the rotor) the replacement parts criteria book doesn't really say anything I can see about pitted side irons, is this one usable (ill get pictures later) or is pitting a serious problem, keep in mind I am on a budget at the moment. Thanks!
