Adding PS

Some of you might think this is kinda unconventional, but I want to add power steering to my car that never came with it. I only have the PS rack from the parts car, no lines or pump and I'm having trouble finding exactly what else I need.

On the PS rack there are 3 ports, but rockauto doesn't really specify which lines are needed. Is there 1 pressure line, 1 return, and 1 cooler pipe?
Pressure line

Return line
https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo...192317&jsn=362

Pump
https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo...192317&jsn=355

For the cooler, can I use a small oil cooler (tube & fin) setup with custom lines? I can make that quite cheap compared to buying the long hard pipe cooler from factory.

Thanks for the help.

You will also need the power steering ecu. I believe the wiring is there already. What year is your 7?

I didn't think about that, I believe the ecu is still in the parts car. They're both 1986.

Everything should be a direct bolt in swap. You can make your own power steering cooler if you dont have access to the one from the parts car. I went ahead and bought the parts I was missing using the parts manual as a reference guide when I was putting together my other 10AE. It helped quite a bit. I used RotaryHeads.com - 2nd Gen RX-7 PDF Technical Manuals FC3S for the manuals
