2nd gen leak on driver's side?

I've got an 88 gxl, and it is making puddles by the door on the driver's side. I have tried looking for drips or water trails, but it doesn't seem like there are any. Anyone had a similar experience? Suggestions on where it could be coming from?

puddle of water? oil?

there is a heater hose that goes right under the oil filter, and it fails after a while, it tends to get oil spilled on it

Ah. I knew I was forgetting something. Water, doesn't smell like oil or antifreeze, just water.

Now I have felt just about every object in the car, and the only thing that was above floor level that was damp was the seatbelt. Is it possible water is leaking inside behind the panel that the seatbelt bolts to, the one behind the door? I've never seen behind this panel, but it seems like a pain to take off, so it'd be helpful if anyone has a picture or knows what it's like behind there.

Nope, haven't run the ac in a long time. I think I may have found it, though. I'll update when I confirm.

I found my leak by going to a car wash and lightly blasting the pressure washer around the seems and cracks.

I found it sunday night, but was too busy to reply to the thread. It was the vents that supposedly ventilate the interior outside through the hatch seal. They were letting water in.
