Hey all, I feel like I'm crazy for this but I've looked in the FSM chapters for manual transmission, engine, and even clutch but I could not find any instructions and torque values for the engine to transmission bell housing bolts. I put it together as it was before but I was really surprised that I just couldn't find it. Also couldn't find any info on the forums about it, which leads me to think I'm just not looking in the right place. Anyone have guidance? Thanks!

 

You are correct about it not being listed. With a quick search of "Bell Housing Bolts Torque" I got some results.

Check the bolt heads, The grade of the bolt is on the head, if I am not mistaken. Then, check the thread pitch and torque accordingly.

 

Yeah I ended up finding only the torque that way. Just sort of seemed crazy to me that it isn't listed, especially that they're all pretty different bolts. Had to do some trial and error. Good to know!
