Hello, I just picked up 1987 FC and there things I'm concern about it.
hopefully its benign and me unfamiliar with cars in general.

Its hard to hear squeaking noise (due to my phone mic is not that great).

When driving I smell fuel when the windows are closed up.

Also when starting the idles at under 500 rpms but when it warms up it idles around 800 rpms.

 

the only thing that comes to mind is maybe its the tension pullies or one of the accessories you have hooked up. You could disconnect the power steering belt or ac belt etc and then re test to see if the noise is gone.

I am not sure about the smell issue, is it the same smell as what is coming from your exhaust or more like gasoline smell?

 

More of a gasoline smell more then exhaust.
