I’m trying to get the RX7 running after sitting in garage for awhile. He actually started a couple of times after changing out fuel pump and filter along with spark plugs. Then it just stopped and I started replacing relays, still nothing happened.
I walked away from it for several month and now I’m attempting to work on it again. I sprayed starting fluid in the carburetor and still wouldn’t start.
Could it be something in the distributor or something else?

 

so your next step might be a timing light, just to see if it has spark. if it does, then you have a problem with fuel, if no then that needs to be fixed

then its an 85, and not a 2nd gen
