100k engine rebuild and street tune

Now that the engine is out and apart I want to street port it. Its a 1988 convertible. I am a little confused about what porting plate to use "no turbo" and do I have to run larger secondery injectors. Bugget does not allow for megasguirt. This is an s4 I believe and I think a 4 port is that correct this is my first rottery rebuild. Ray cascella

Your engine is a s4 6 port, 4 ports were only turbo engines on FCs

You can get a street port template for a 6 port and still run the stock ECU, but you'd get more power out've a bare minimum piggy back ecu like a SAFC

I noticed that the egr tubes run down into the ports right below wear you grind open the port, should these be pluged and if not should the crosover on the egr valve be blocked or left open sort of like on a duel exhast system crossover pipe.
