for the 3,457,566th time. Nice Bumper!! Mine has cracked slats on the bottom, maybe its time to break out my fiberglass supplies Imagine 2 cars in the NW/OR area that has the "swallows hondas for breakfast" bumpers, but not ricey boat ancors like theirs? I think thats the most tastefull bumper I've seen in a while!

Not a whole lot dude, just working like a dog as of late. I can tell from the pics that your car is coming along nicely. Your new paint job serves to remind me that I need to have the Sport painted some day, it hasn't been painted since coming off of the production line in 1987!

Hope to see you around man,
Isaac

Another snapshot with some of the interior in to show the yellow on gray a little better:

I am planning on spraying the wheel wells down with undercoat to hide my overspray.

Thanks, man. Thank you all for the compliments. Putting some interior parts back in and sitting on the floor of the car, I started to remember what it was like driving this thing last year. This huge project is starting to feel less like a job and more like a car that I will be driving again, soon! It was an awesome machine, three times the car of my Integra. Of course it will be street ported with a ram / cold air intake and ported TB and manifold, along with a header . . . so I might not recognize its driving characteristics.

Maybe I should change my name to "YellowBase"

yea man, keep your name 88integra, i swear every post i have where it sends me a email telling me its updated, i look for your name, and ALWAYS go if its you, your the man, nice work on everything.

word of advise, dont use the ruberized undercoating in the red can, if you get it from like discount autoparts or something, if you do use undercoat on the wheel wells, use the blue can, thats paintable, the red can will NEVER fully dry. but i would just use some black satin spray paint in a can, the undercoat stuff will seriousley stain your paint if you get any overspray on it, it stained my hands for a week afterwords, and it drys brown. id just use black spray paint tho easier and works better. the undercoat crap ONLY drys completely on bare metal...

With the completion of my battery relocation cable, I permanently installed the carpet, passenger seat and sill plate. I am really starting to love this car. I can sit in it again and remember how it felt to drive it!

You can see my solution to overpriced inner / outer shift boots in the first picture: an old rubber glove taped around the shifter shaft and to the chassis with a few layers of duct tape. The middle finger is where the stick shift shaft pokes through. :
