Question Will an FD TB fit on a 3-rotor UIM?

Hi,

Just have a simple question:

"Will an FD throttle body fit with a 3-rotor UIM?"

Direct bolt-on? Will anything need to be modified or blocked off?

Thanks in advance,

Rizwan

There is a minor modification necessary to make it fit below the primary for the idle air.

easier to adjust the tps on the 20b TB because everything its right up front.

The 3rd gen TB has 4 mounting point for the TB elbow as opposed to only two with the 20b TB

I am using the FD TB + Greddy elbow on my 20B UIM. So far so good (but the car doesn't run yet, haha).

Awesome! Thanks for the input guys. Back to finishin' the car up now......

Maybe I should have titled the thread, "Which is better to use: 3-rotor TB or FD TB?"

Also wondering if I'll be needing all the sensors from the FD TB to run it? What about the throttle cable?

Well, I think you'll have to retain the FD TPS on that TB, because the orientation of the Cosmo TPS is opposite , I believe one goes clockwise and the other goes anti-clockwise. So you can't use the FD TPS on the Cosmo TB. Plz correct me if I'm wrong...
