damn, pretty crazy match up. the 20b definently has top end over the LS car. Seems like the turbo on the 20B is a little too big for a short track like that tho. The car lagged pretty bad at a few points.
I would be interested to know more info on the set ups on both cars.

Apparently there are four parts to the race.
Best part starts after 3:25 The camera starts shaking from the G force and I thought he was going to time travel. vvv

Keep watching for the worst part. I can see how a new set of tires might have have been worth the money here.

Yep, hate to see any car wreck. It said he ran through oil put down by someone else. It would not have made any difference even if he had new tires. Oil on the track ain't no joke.

Wouters attempt to finnish this race with a weak engine that has been serving him for 4 seasons...
His execution out of the corners were alot slower than usual and this is because of the lower comp of the engine. The ls1 powered rx7 was doing well against wouter because of the sht tires and the sacked engine...
After the crash Wouter pulled the engine and recorded 50psi comp in each rotor...
I will be freshening it up as soon as he gets it to me.... Cant wait ot see what it looks like inside after 4 seasons of 700hp racing...

He did a good job missing the other car sitting there.
It would be awesome if you wouldn't mind posting pics of the inside of the motor after tear down. 4 years is a lot of hard racing use. I would find it hard to see many boosted piston counter parts able to see this kind of abuse w/o a refresh.

4 years of road racing?! That's crazy. Anybody know what RPM full boost is reached (an how much)? Or some rwhp numbers?
Just looked up and saw that the engine was pulled with 50psi on each rotor, no wonder it was laggy. Still though, can't ask for much more than that with 4 years of racing.

I've followed Wouter for a few years. Fun stuff. I find it interesting that he can stay up with a 427-engined FD. If -- when -- his motor is back in shape, he should be able to get some distance on that 427 FD. I think it is probably the best information on how a 20b performs relative to an LSX powered FD. If you don't have a 427 conversion, you're really not going to be in the hunt against a 20b.

This is like saying no 2 rotor can compete with a 20B...
