I'm using the Microtech LTX12s, GT42 with a street port. I'm not tuned yet, but was told by Jon at Microtech that the MSD Blaster SS coils (tall red ones) are good to 30 psi with the internal ignition on the Microtech. He said he's used them on quite a few 20b's and they've been great.

Are you running an ign amp? I think you may need to run one of those msd ign boxes to get the full 40,000 volts out of those coils (at least that's what is says in the summit racing catalog). If you running a decent amount of boost at higher rpm's you may need that upgrade.

Im running a Ltx-12s with bosch coils and am getting really bad igntion breakup above 5000rpm @10psi.

Its driving me crazy, was going to switch to the MSD blaster ss coils, however now it sounds like guys are running into the same issues.

What does the 20b use from the factory for leading coils? Does each rotor have its own leading coil like normally for the trailings?

We use M&W CDI and coils, which I believe are Mercury Marine coils. The CDI is not cheap but I think the coils were like $30 bucks a piece. Maybe save some money and do the leading coils with a M&W CDI and the trailing with the MSD CDI.

2 x MSD DIS-4 ignition amps and 6 Blaster SS coils has been a flawless setup for me so far. It's not particularly cheap at ~$1400 for the whole lot, but works great so far.

I'm having an issue with flooding, and was wondering if better coils would help me. Any suggestions?
