What 20b "#" do you have?

Wow, thank you very much! Makes me think I should look for a mint condition GSL-SE for the swap to do the engine justice, but I suppose an S model with an LSD disc brake rear swap is just as good because it's a lighter total package. It's already got the GSL-SE fuel tank.

Andrew, here's your info on D001. For future reference, All D and E-code engines are part of the second production run, starting in February 1994. Pre-A through C are part of the first production run, beginning January 1990
JCES-100001
Built on 2/23/1994 (Pisces)
Type SX with 20B-REW
Exterior code: D2 (check with shcolor.info for details)
Interior Code: JA1 (Dark Gray)
Type-STE Cloth Seats (only on SX and 13B-CCS cars)
GPS-Equipped
With LSD
If someone could hook me up with dimension and angle measurements from their Banzai 20b FC engine mounts, I'd be VERY appreciative. J.Voorhees is getting restless lol.
Also, if anyone wants to know when their SA/FB, FC or FD was made and the original options, please let me know too. I'll also tell you the vin range for japan-market cars built on that day too.
Something else I found out is that some of the very first few FDs in Japan (10/91 run start date) were painted Shade Green too. When I find a matching vin tonight, I'll post a chassis number for everyone.

If so how about A991?
I mostly care about the year of manufacture.
Thanks

Andrew, you're using a regular FD transmission, right? If that's the case, could you get some pics and measurements? One of my best friends is itching to go 20b in his FD too and could use a nice, simple mounting solution like yours sounds.
Japan2LA, the D171 was made on December 22, 1994
Lucrum, A991 is May 19, 1990
SteveSimon: B301 is August 7, 1990
Anyway, I'd really appreciate something for tracking the info down. Paypal is cd9asherwoodATyahoo.com and all proceeds will be going towards getting the murderer 20b (friday the 13th haha) going in my FC

They made an E series right? I wonder what the last E series number was.

To akagis, I'm getting my car up on a lift to work on it during winter. I'll take some pics with some measurements. I can tell u that I'm using a stock fd transmission and because the engine is mounted on stock engine subframe I have custom oil pan, drive shaft and ppf shortened by about 6 inches. The shifter is in the stock location because I custom harm that connects to the tranny was built. You will have to be patient because this operation is going to take some time, I don't mind sharing what I have.
