using stock FD transmission with 20b-turbo

i'm looking to make about 550-600whp with my 20b single turbo.

this'll be my daily driver, and i'll mostly be running street tires, and slicks only on autox or tracks.

my car never sees 1/4 mile drag on slicks.

would the tranny last for a few years? if not, what can i do to make it reliable?

thanks all.

Thats a little over the said breaking limit of the TII/FD gearboxes. I'm sure it will be fine of the street, the tires are your main fuesable link. You may run into problems at the drag strip depending on how you launch and such.

I was fine with the stock twins. When I put the single turbo on I stripped the teeth of of 3rd gear at 15-16psi, and broke the mainshaft on another in 4th gear at 18 psi. This was done while rolling on the throttle in the selected gear. When the turbo spooled not powershifting.

you should be ok if it doesn`t grip hard, which will be hard to do anyways , but some people ---^^^, as you can see didn`t have that kind of luck , the main problem is that your`e at the limit (more or less) of the TII/FD gearbox ...if i where you thread carefull
