CA Turning a N/A to a 20b turbo 2

Alright people. I'm about to undertake a masive engine and tranny swap on my 91 convert. Found a good engine and tranny for 4,500.00USD all parts included. I think that I have thought of just about everything, but I if you guys have any suggestions. It would be most helpfull.

Why don't you tell us what you have thought of? Because from your post it appears that all you have thought about was getting a used engine...

A 20b conversion is MUCH more than just an engine and tranny swap.

are you talking about buying a 20b or slapping another rotor on a t2 engine?
either way thats a massive and expensive undertaking in the least

and you can pass emissions in a 20b, mariah did it apperently with thier 10ae with the 20b that was still twin turbo

Expect to add at least another 2 grand on top of that 4,500 before it even runs.

from what I've heard, you're probably gonna have to rebuild the 20b. They go for what, 3k blown...

Also, you're gonna need a whole new fuel system, suspension, and rear end...

That should get you started....
You really should post this/research in the 20b conversion section

You can buy this one for less than it would cost to build it:
http://www.cris.com/~Asam/20B.html

There is no point in spending more time and money on your own conversion unless you just have a lot of time and a LOT of money to blow simply for your own amusement in building it yourself.
