gt42 102mm 53trim .6a/r 82mm 84 1.15a/r
w/ a flow rate of about 96 lbs/min

it looks like it will be more responsive then the t76 out flow it too. Im not looking to max it out, just hit about 80% of its potencial.

i spoke to someone yesturday and he dyno'd his (ported) 20b 7' and got just over 450hp at 6.5 psi @5600rpm(some innovative turbo). That will be just fine for me on the street Last time i drove my car it had 275hp and about 260ft/lbs @18psi. Im looking forward to this setup with anticipation and fear. i hope to have the miata back on the road w/in a month. wish me luck.
PS CC companiy called and verified the charges to the card and it totalled 4100+, wish i could see their faces when i pay it in full...ahhh hahahaha!!!

Not to discourage you, but I've been working on mine off and on for a year. Of course I've had four other rotary projects going on simultaneously.

fi addict: woah thats the monster one! from my rough-as-guts calcs based on the compressor map the 53 trim should be good for 440rwhp @ 9psi, 560rwhp @ 15psi and 730rwhp @ 25psi. Ample power for a miata i think!!

That GT42 sounds a lot like the specs for a t51R SPL... are they similar?

Did you not want the "R" version with ball bearings?

HKS HKS Signature Turbochargers T51R SPL Turbo (Ball-Bearing)
# Wheel- 56 Trim - 76.5 Inducer/ 102.2 Major Housing- 100 Inlet / 80 Outlet
TURBINE: Wheel- 76 Trim - 82.0 Major / 71.4 Exducer Housing- V-Band inlet / V-Band 115.5 mm outlet - 1.00 A/R

seems closer to the 56trim in overall size.
oh and seems out of budget (2k more)

Hmmmm only 400rpm differance plus an extra grand in price? Now I see why it's not worth the upgrade.

If you're just looking at the "400 RPM difference" and the price, those turbos are not sold for you.

lil update...
Im trapped in snow but my carbonfiber hardtop showed up the other day!!!
so now all i need is the Rad. ,FMIC, plumbing, and Subframe to be completed.
the engine bay is going to be emptied pretty much and the dash will be gutted too!

i found a site that can explain how to lighten my car by 350lbs. CRAZY!!!
http://www.lightweightmiata.com/ might give ya some ideas!!!!

i looked into the HKSdogmission and the gurubox. @ almost 7k i could blow up about 35 T2 trannies. I plan to blow up trannies for a lil

any advice...please!

i'll get pics of the project... dont worry!!!
