ITS ALIVE!!!! Man that sound was the best when it started right up.

I turned the key and it started like a champ.I let it run for 20 min and

no problems,no leaks or oil leaks like the mazdas do all the time just

a great moment of enjoing the sound.I cheated a little, couldn't wait

so i started the motor with no exhaust system just a big 4" down pipe.

I Reved the motor a couple times and whoaaa that tune was just on the

money.

I held on the pictures till the last moment, didn't want to spoil the last few

details to everyone.I will post up the new picture tomorrow WED 31, I will

test drive the Rx3 in the next few days until the weather settles a bit.

Videos will be posted soon, trying to upgrade my computer to download vidoes.

Speaking of the devil. Jerry and I were just talking about putting miles on that new motor. So I will be breaking it in. I may drive it to Guitarjunkie's funeral on Saturday...thats about a lil over 100 miles round trip between LA and IE.

Here are some more picture of the Rx3Sp 20B engine,

Another view of the engine with all the parts in its place. 1st picture

More of the engine bay and turbo.2nd pic

Here you can see the bottom of the Rx3 with the intercooler all plumbed up. 3rd pic

The aluminum radiator with twin shrouded fans(let the engine run 30min an only got up to 170F with no air pushing up front, when fans come on it drops to 156F)4th pic

Picture of the 4" Muffler and the turndown i welded up.5th pic

You can see the experience on these shots,THERE WAS NO CUTTING ON THE FIREWALL or TRANNY TUNNEL,just a few holes for the 3" intercooler pipes.

See ya at the upcoming shows,Jerry will take the car to carshows really soon
and some Rx meets for closeup view.

Enjoy the pictures more to come,Hopefully some vidoes too.

Rx3 project

Me and Jerry(car owner) took the Rx3 for a spin today ,and you know

we had a big smiles all the way.We drove a bit without the hood on for a couple

of blocks on street , when we pulled up to the gas station we had people just

coming up and taking a good look at what the hell is that nice chrome stuff.

We filled it up and took it into the freeway,I of course had to be the first to

drive, couldn't let jerry drive it till it was safe.I meant safe from being throttle

happy, you know, you can't just unleash the power to someone who has been

itching to feel the awsome power of the 20B.He was just saying "damn that

sound is so different".I also told jerry he has to take it easy from now on

the Rx3 felt really nice and crisp on the freeway . Thanks to the awsome tuner

you know (Rene JR) got it all right in the first try.

Hope you people like it, i can do the same work (for all rotaries) If anyone is

interested(It has to be by appointment, for this work,I do one car at a

time to keep myself focused .More info of my shop PM me>
