rumors are that Alec from www.kiwi-re.com built the motor/turbo/motec package at a cost of around $120K but when the setup arrived in PR both Siguel and the ML owners decided to rip out the motec in favor of a microtech....Apparently the guys in NZ didnt like that idea of the ECU change cuz they strongly support motec and lot of money and time was spent in the past with the motec setup with dennis's green/gold FD with same motor & turbos but didnt generate great results....both NZ & PR deserve the respect on this one cuz Alec couldnt see a 6 or 7 sec pass with dennis's car (wrong tuner/ECU maybe?)and Siguel wokeup that Kiwi engineering with that killer tune.....i think that this short crank 3rotor might help us reach that 1500-1600hp mark more reliably than the 20b and i get the feeling that its only a matter of time till the pro 20B racers starts using the short crank motor cuz shaft flex is the #1 killer/hp limiter on the 20b's.....

Radio interview with the King!

Guys,
Abel did a small radio interview over the weekend on Road-&-Track Radio... if you'd like to hear it, go to the following for details:

Does the major league car use a P-port? I don't believe it does based on the picture I have that shows 6 fuel injectors in the upper rail. If this is correct, and they are using a short crank motor, how did they get the secondary port on the middle rotor to match the the secondary port size of the outer rotors?

WTF, those guys were total tools....to think that they could of done some research on Pro RWD imports & even rotaries before that interview but Abel responded well.... Bern when are they gonna update Flaco-Racing.com??? they could at lease put up some video clips of the car warming up in the pits or going down the track....

fast cars but how they do it?

Yes they have all the fast cars in puerto rico but i just realize that 75% are all
clutchless transmissions and if you do the math and statistics each tranny costs about 5-10,000 dollars and there is about 300 cars on the list posted that is well
over 1million dollars+ in transmissions in that little island.PR has more clutchless trannys than USA.No wonder we are behind the other 25% bearly can afford one especially USA(rotorheads). What kind of jobs they have, how they do it?I work my *** off for a year to buy one and these guys buy it like peanuts.

So you are saying that with a clutchless tranny, you TOO can run similar times? Who cares where the got the $$$ to buy them, if that wasn't an excuse, I don't know what it was

BTW - Out of all of those cars, I HIGHLY doubt that 5 of them cost over 1 million dollars!

You mean like when you constantly criticize BDC's achievements; but don't have jack to back up your point\proof?

I should bring this up next time, you go down on one of BDC's car

they do it by working their butts off. puerto rico is a commonwealth, almost our 51st state. its not a 3rd world country.
to have 4 race tracks and another one on the way (arecibo) in an island 100x35 shows the love that puerto rico has for drag racing. these guys run for fun, it truely is a hobby.
300+ between 6.81-9.99
with about 50+ new proyects coming out next year.
many of these proyects can be seen by clicking http://pistonvsrotor.com/secciones/p...torico/00.html

Okay, so you're saying if I make more power and go faster then I'm automatically more right / better than BDC?

I really don't see what YOUR REPLY has anything to do with what I said?
I was criticizing the fact that people are bragging about other people's accomplishments.
So where is the parallel to what you said short of you being an *** and trying to make fun of me?

If you fail to see it, I guess there is more to you than being a smart *** Yup we brag about our people, while you criticize other peoples work; similarities?

NONE of us have a car that can match those of who we brag or in your case criticize, get it ?

BTW - when was the last time you TRUELY helped somebody in the rotary community? you USED to be a cool dude, what happened?

If we used RETed system we'd have a world without sports and entertainment.
think about it, dont we all follow a sports team? i follow the sixers, eagles, flyers ect ect. i brag about my team all the time. my favorite players are allen iverson, donovan mcnabb, and a few others and when getting together with my buddies to talk about sports those are the players i brag about.
we all do it.
just because i dont play sports myself doesnt mean i cant celebrate other people accomplishments. we all do it. even you RETed.
it happens in boxing 100% of the time. boxing is an indivisual sport where we root for one guy.
when miguel cotto, tito trinidad wins we puerto ricans win.
same thing with many of the racers from puerto rico, its pride for us. the way we feel about our racers is the same way you (RETed)
feel about your favorite sports team, hope that helps.

looks like its game on next year according to siguel.....2006 looks very serious for ProRWD rotarys & the 3rotor...
