Progress on my fixing my 20b

Well, I did snap the e-shaft. Looks like a bearing spun and caused the break. It had run for 2+ years. I have a shaft and the bearings are being clearance now. Should have the shaft back late next week or the next. No other damage so putting it back together shouldn't be much trouble.

But.....in the mean time I ran across a great deal on a 13b FD with a half bridge and <500 miles on the engine. It made 508rwhp at 20 psi with a GT4094. This gives me something to play with until my 20b is running again. It is for sale by the way.

What series engine are you running? What running conditions was the engine in when it blew?

No, sorry for the confusion. I may never part with the 20b unless I get a really good offer. I bought a 13b half bridge FD that I want to sell. The 13b made 508 rwhp at 20 psi. It is a nice car and everything but it just reassures me that I made a good decision on the 20b. The 20b is so much closer to a daily driver kind of car. It idles nice and smooth, is quieter and sounds much better...... not real finicky. The only tricky part on the 20b is the 3 disk clutch. The 13b is much more radical than the 20b.

I was in 2nd gear WOT @ 4-5k rpm. I hit full boost at about that rpm. I have 2 years on the engine....I'm guessing 4k hard miles. I've tracked it at the road course, drag strip and autocross. I suspect it has been weakend by over reving as I routinely hit 8k'ish.That will likely be a statement to cause debate....it gets there pretty fast in 2nd gear...and I love the way it pulls at higher rpms in 3rd and 4th. (not too often in 4th though) I change the oil probably every 300-700 miles depending on when I've taken it to a track.

It is a C series engine.
