If you have reached the a point on your FD that you just want more, and you love your FD that much, and have the money (extra of course), and want to be somewhat unique w/ lots of semi-reliable rotary HP and Torque.
Then its a good deal, very professional, but you will never get close to what you paid for the car and the conversion. So if you get the package, you're keeping it for life unless you want to take a HUGE loss.
Oh and be sure to have a 2nd car cause it'll take a few months.

Worth it from what standpoint?

Is it worth it to someone that can do all the work themselves? Probably not...unless they can make more money utilizing the time spent on the conversion doing something else.

This conversion is expensive. If you do it or if someone else does it. Pettit has to make a profit, they will have to support the product for some amount of time (they have a warranty), and this conversion takes a serious amount of time and special parts.

A general rule of thumb, for this type of project, is that you need to charge 2 to 3 times the cost of materials to start making profit. That would mean $13K to $20K in materials cost from Pettit's standpoint...this seems about right.

From a performance standpoint, that is 550 HP, a healthy amount of torque...should be good for get up and go. And you are not pushing the 20B like you would have to push a 13B. The 20B would mean very streetable horsepower, still using the stock turbos (as Pettit does). A 13B pushing similar HP would need a single turbo, it would be mostly top end HP and not very streetable (at least IMO).

From a reliability standpoint, it would be similar to compare a 13B pushing about 360-370 HP (each rotor counting for about 180-185 HP). A 13B-REW pushing 360 on the stock twins is not too much to ask (stock turbos will do it) and with proper tuning you should get many miles at this power output level.

I was at Pettit this week talking with Cam about a conversion. He said their 3 rotor makes 400 rwhp and is very reliable at that level. It takes about 6-8 weeks for them to do the conversion.
