I also have the same pettit conversion done. Only 12 engines built. Trying to track down the last 3 owners..

 

he's since sold that car i think . he's the owner of 7parts.com.

 

Is that A51 Batman's old car, or a different one?

That's Area51 Batmans car.. He sold it to some guy who took out the rear quarter panel with a guardrail? I believe and so they put those flares on it. Also I believe that same owner parted out the custom rear suspension off of it(could have been A51 maybe before he sold it, it was a while ago so hard to remember) Anyone remember that rear suspension? God it was nice..

But yeah the guy who Area51 sold it to is the same guy who owned it in that photo spread I believe. Whether that owner still has it or not I'm not sure. Try and contact Area51 Fabrications in california. IF they're still around then the owner of the shop is Area51 Batman, or was at one time.

 

You're correct. The original owner of that car is Jeff Kiesel, who's the owner of 7parts.com, and is indeed on the forum. His forum name is fd20b.

^Really not much to tell. I remember seeing the article and asking Cam about the car. The usual mechanic stuff about how great the car is. This was about the time I was beginning to figure out the twin turbo setup didn't make the HP Pettit claimed so I was kind of focused in on this issue. Don't have much more than this.
