Opinion on Upgraded Rear End for 3 Rotor
Yesterday, the 25th of December, 2009...I shattered my stock rear end. So I have a couple of options... stock rear, kazz rear with upgraded axles, or what everyone seems to be using; the cobra rear end.
I believe its a good time for an upgrade. Im pretty familiar with the kazz set-up but im interested in the cobra rear and was looking for some input and whats entailed in this set up..
If theres another setup that can be used or that is better, please let me know..All opinions are appreciated.
btw, im making 580hp at 11psi and later down the road.. plan on raising boost.
thanks

I am going to build a brace out of 3/8 in tempered steel that will not only give more stability to the front of the diff, but also cradle the rear of the diff as well. I will post pictures when I get it done. I am hoping that will save the case.

The rear end will still blow up. I don't think bracing it is the problem. The design of the differential is not beefy enough. None the less, it would be interesting to see it fabbed up.

Yeah I know that the thin cast on the diff is the real issue. That is what I am going to try and remedy. I have a few ideas and will be happy to share them once I get this thing fabbed up. The true test will be once the 20b is up and running.....
