Yea, doing the electric power steering pump for sure. We're going to mount it in the trunk. Its an MR2 spyder pump. It also has the reservoir built in.

Pan would run you over 2k... its nuts.

Its an awesome piece for sure, to bad its not easily seen. Thats creeping close to going dry sump, obviously thats not a cheap endeavor either but any specific reason going this one-off route. I mean no disrespect just curious..

Nothing off the shelf available for a 20b RX8, so this was the best option.

If you’re interested in selling the lightened high compression Rotors from the NA build, please let me know. I’m in the process of building a NA 20BPP. Thanks

The 9.7 rotors were never machined. The 20b rotors were lightened, balanced, and side clearanced. Funny fact though... we're actually looking for a new eshaft to go back to NA, so the 9.7 rotors will have to be machined now... hahaha

Not a lot of updates, but the renesis is out of the car, and the 20b is supposed to be delivered around the end of the month. We're still going to try and have it ready for DGRR. I'll start shaving the engine bay and a wire tuck this weekend.

It doesn't run out straight enough.

In case anyone is still interested...
Just got the rotating assembly back from the machine shop. Hopefully the motor will be stacked soon.

EFI/ign/turbo control

[QUOTE=reddozen;12159185]This is more of a place holder for now. Engine is purchased, but won't be ready till around June / July. Then it's off to the fabricator to get it in the car. Lastly wiring and tune.

does SDS support 3 rotor EFI/ign/turbo control? Or just 2 rotor?

At this point the car is going to be a full standalone Haltech Elite 2500

I'm unfamiliar with that unit-does it do 'everything'?

@cardmarc It would work perfectly fine, but new technology means I upgraded from that to the newest ECU offering...

Car is supposed to go to the fabricator in 3 weeks. Hopefully it'll finally be running in April!

Just got a Bosch 82mm DBW throttle body with 20b adapter and 90mm inlet from Pac Performance.
Coils and custom resonator coming from BHR.
Rear diff hard mount from LS1RX8.
Haltech R3 and 3 wide bands. Shawn wants to run these instead of a wide band and 3 EGT sensors. Whatever makes it simpler... it's just NA.

I'm stressing getting this wiring done in time, and hoping that the engine is ready at the expected time... guess we'll see.... I'll try to keep everyone posted.

Interesting going 3 WB...can you get more info on that? I was going to do the opposite and run 3 EGT with 1 WB

Engine and car dropped off at the fabricator. Should hopefully be running in April. Sadly it wont be ready for DGRR.
