NA 20b FD build

I was browsing ebay and saw a recently rebuilt half bridge 20b with itbs and a microtch for sale. Figured what the hell I've got a roller with 36k that deserves something decent. I made the guy a fair offer, he accepted. Motor is at PFS being tore down, inspected, and a full bridge (or swaping the irons for a street ported set). Hope things go well...

On a side note the microtech/ coils are for sale since i have a TEC 3r on its way.

Not Quite sure really. Just saw a rebuilt 20B on ebay and bought it... I'm torn between a smooth fairly quiet idle and higher peak numbers. Considering I'm not a fan of drag racing and rarely make it out to HPDE events I'm leaning towards a street port, unless Ray charges me a crazy core fee to swap center housings.

I had a twin turbo FD that pettit build back in 98, and have had a 93 that I swapped a LS1 into several years ago. I wasn't a fan of huge repair bills nor am I a fan of relocating the steering rack. Hopefully this swap gives me reliability, torque and factory steering geometry. Waiting on estimates from Ray, but it looks like the porting needs to be redone and a new housing. Waiting on Ray for estimates on streetport vs full bridge setup.

Planning to put it in my 93 with 35K miles. Its a car I bought to part and and never got around to selling the roller after recouping my cost... Nothing special about it. It think it has a set of stance coilovers and a 99 sepc steering wheel that I didn't sell (need to double check, its been under a cover for a few years). I've got a set of Fikse FM10s and Mach 5s in storage. Not sure which I'll use.

I like the lower intake. Looks similar to what I'm going to build. Where did you get yours?

Came with the ITBs I bought. It was made by Dave @ KDR. Shoot me a PM if you want to buy it. Im thinking about building one that wraps around so I can fit an air box on it.

Thank, Mike
