Hey Logan just read through all 17 pages and the car is awesome. If you are ever interested in Autocrossing it at a Central division race at Toledo Airport or at the Sharronville plant in Cincy let me know. I will bring down my Hoosiers for a codrive. Your car would rock in Street Mod 2 if you put back in some of the interior.

HA! I saw the video first on streetfire.net with you doing some of your drifting practice. All I could think of was "What the crap is that hole in his hood for?" I couldnt figure out if it was a different engine or if you did an N/A conversion, both seem to be right.

The exhaust note on that thing is sextastic and the intake setup is just beauitul. I must say this is one of my favorite RX-7s I have ever seen. I want to see some tuning of those peripheral ports too!

I can't believe I read this entire thread (including 2.3T dipshits crap). I've got some respect for the motor, I've seen several EXTREMELY cheap under 13 sec 1/4 mile cars with those motors. And my uncle has towed away more 2.3T ford powered cars than most people have seen in their entire life.

Anyway...

BEST & MOST UNIQUE SOUNDING DRIFT CAR EVAR! I've been to several D1's and NOTHING sounds that good.

Kudo's to you for all the fab work. It may be expensive, but I can say, if I could afford it, I'd do the same. If for no other reason than the feeling of building it myself. Of course I'm a person who tends to enjoy the journey more than the destination.

I love that torque curve, and can't wait to see how it is with the PP's opened up. As others have requested, please try and get lower in the rev range on the dyno. BTW, how is the 20b going to cope with 10k+ rpm's? I know people have asked about doing 13b's with revs above 10k, and many seem to say it takes quite a bit of work (balancing, lightening of rotors, special bearings, things of that nature)?

I hope STL gets some drift events, and you bring that thing out, I want to see and hear that car in person.

Wow, I almost feel shy after reading some of the nice comments on here, I'm not used to it !! Thanks to all! A far as 10K prepping, dynamic balance rotors, race bearings in the rotors, 3 window bearings in the staintionarys, hardened gears (factory installed) Ceramic apex seals, dry sump oil system (20b only) and lots of free flowing intake air. That is the typical mods needed. All I need is ceramic apex's and dry sump. But, we will see not sure how much time I have to do all that over winter.

The only problem I see with that rpm is the stock e-shaft.

Mandeville said the stock e-shaft assembly is safe to 9500 for sustained time as long as the rotating assembly is dynamically balanced (see my sig picture ).

After reading this thread I would like to think this is how the 3rd Gen should have come from the factory.

okay, you know what, email sucks. I cant send the high quality version anyway. maybe if i knew how to zip or something, but I dont. I can send the 11MB version which is significantly better but the 900MB or even the 90MB version will just never happen.

does it work for mac? and as far as sending an attachment, neither hotmail nor gmail allow 90MB attachments, let alone 900.

It would be awesome if you could create a bittorrent tracker for it, then everyone could get it very quickly!

Almost no free mail server will let you email an attachment bigger than 5-10MB.
Just think if anyone could transfer through the internet 900MB emails. Bye, bye internet.
It would be better if someone could host it. Maybe Vosko?
I would like to dl it and keep it in my archives.

yes, but i SUCK at computers... which is why i bought an apple in the first place. I dont care about computers at all as long as i can get on AIM, edit videos, and use the internet. This computer makes all of those things 4726437 times simpler than windows, but i dont know how to do any fancy crap with it . If anyone knows how to bit-torrent on an apple im open to suggestions.

Wow... just read this entire thread. I was impressed with the power output of some of the big-turbo 20b cars out there.... but this car takes the cake! That airbox is just beautiful!.

Now if only I could save up an extra $20k or so and pay you to build me a car like that... I think it'd be a hot seller if you got a dealership going for these things .

Simply amazing car, get thos peri-ports working asap!

BTW, if you could, please PM me where you are in Ohio... I'll be visiting family in the Cincy and Columbus areas over thanksgiving break, would be curious how close I'd be to such an amazing car. Westerville near Columbus, to be exact.

I'm kind of a n00b when it comes to the 20B, but I was wondering what the compression
ratio is on those stock rotors? What compression ratio does your FD use?

Wow, after seeing your set up, I'm so tempted to ditch my future turbo set up and pop all my money on a N/A 20B for my
FC. I'm totally envious of your FD, GtoRx7. 89 octane fuel sounds waaaaay more appealing than
92 octane for my boost. How's the gas mileage?

I'm very impressed with that car. I watched your drift videos and the sound of that tri-rotor
blows me away. Thank you for this experience, LoL.
