i have been a bit busy well the sump is back from powder coating the gearbox in now on the back of the engine just waiting for some bolts for my steering box to come back from the cad plating shop but i reckon i am just gonna drop the engine in tonight regardless. And yes there was a bit of a change in the injector department probably a bit of overkill but it does give me the meathanol option later.

I might be asking a dump question

I first have to admire your work, awesome.

The intake looks great but from the pics cant see how they are throttled!

So my dump question is what sort of throttle has that intake got, slide, butterfly or some thing else? From pic it looks like the throttle cable can go in both top and bottom.

Hey mate the picture really doesnt pick it up to well but it is butterflied all three throttle bodies will be joined together with rod ends and the throttle cable will pull on them from the front.
If you look on the 3rd pic you can see the arms off the throttle bodies just in front of the injectors.

wow man amazing work, you have done a lot of additional small things that really add up to a beautiful setup, very nice to see such good work.

what is up with the injectors right at the horn edge? never seen that before... seems like excess gone wild...

thanks for all of the pics, I love these kinda threads!
oh man, a n/a 20b wailing WOT thru ITBs has to be one of the best sounds ever.

the front injectors have been done numerous times before. Besides the cool factor, because they would be right in the center of the opening and not offset somehow, fuel can spread more evenly.

I am thinking maybe by the end of the week we might have a noise out of it fingers crossed, and the oil filler cap use to have a badge in it from a rotary shop and i just took it out and my mate cut a sticker for me so i guess it is just custom made.

hey guys finished off my fuel system tonight, i ran the fuel lines under the car and fitted all the injectors lock wired the top ones dont want anything vibrating loose and falling into one of those trumpets and fitted all the fuel rails. i also made up the oil lines and filled the thing with oil, So tomorrow morning i am gonna prime the fuel pumps and get fuel pressure up to check for leaks and get oil pressure up then i need to do a tiny bit of wiring and she should start, it has been a long time coming but they reckon good things come to those who wait.

That's old/current aviation tech right there. The wire keeps the screws (which have holes in them) from backing out due to engine vibrations. Dave20bpp is taking the necessary precautions to prevent them from falling in the open intake.
