I live in SF bay area, very dense, urban. Before I thought being a Smog exempt 74 chassis would be fine. But the noise, the smell, the heat, everything makes it very hard to enjoy on a regular basis on the street. tired of getting dirty looks from everyone from cops to urban hippies...
I love my 997 turbo, so figured that I'd go that route. Plus, 996tt/997tt engines are pretty amazing GT1 blocks. Great foundation for quieter, cooler, power.
GoodFella, or anyone else for that matter, I may be tempted to trade for a NICE FD + cash. But the work is starting in a couple of days. So I'd need to know asap, otherwise once the work starts the deal is off the table.
