Mazdatrix now sells 20B parts
Saw the price of the thick housing?
The E-Shaft is the GURU one.
Plus I never knew the stock upper and lower intake manifolds were still available as new items. The price is pretty reasonable.
At least another source for some of the common parts needed without having to deal with Mazdacomp and their out of stock, have no clue when available answer most of the times.

Good GOD...EXSPENSIVE!
Thick SIDE PLATE = $2564.00
After market "GURU"stock OEM type E-shaft= $3296.00
Lets see, buy 2 parts for $5860.00
or buy a complete low mile JSpec LONGBLOCK for $4500.00
Which makes more sense?

Yeah, problem is these are the 2 parts that tend to go bad in 20B motors... and without these parts you are screwed..
I have enough NEW NOS OEM Mazda 20B parts to assemble 2 complete shortblocks.. I am considering letting some of those parts go if anyone is interested????

Part of the problem is that custom work is billed on actual hours worked. Standard maintenance and common conversions are billed on "book rates". Experienced mechanics can often beat the book rates, so they are reluctant to work for "only" their standard hourly rate. (One mechanic I talked with recently told me that his shop manager threatened to fire him for producing work at >only< 110% of the book rate.)
