Mariah Single Turbo 3rotor Kit

I was just looking around the web for some rear fender flares for my FC and I stumbled across this:

http://www.mariahmotorsports.com/wh...htm#3ROTORTURBO

There is no information on the site about the kit, but they do have a pictue of it. I can't tell what kind of turbo it is, but the kit looks farily complete from what I can tell, though no downpipe is shown.

I sent them an email inquiring on cost, availability and turbo specs, as well as the exact contents of the package and what chasis (FB, FC or FD) it was designed for. I'm assuming its made for an FC. I'll post on here when/if I get a response from them.

This doesn't look like something I'd be interested in, but a few of you may be, so I'll keep you informed. Mariah just seems to be kind of high priced, and I expect this will be as well. Hopefully not though...

I'm not one for bolt on kits, but this may not be a bad idea, if its a good deal... I'lll let ya'll know.

Is that the 10AE 3-rotor that still doesn't run right till this day?

That guy posts on the nopistons forum by the name of 3 Rotor. I've mailed him a few times asking about his car but he seems to be one of those people that just said, "cool car" and bought it without maybe knowing all the stuff that went into it and the maintenance issues.

Those Mariah kits are sooo ugly. Would be cool to have a 3 rotor fully accessorised though.

Well, I just got an email late last week from Mariah. They said that each of their kits are custom made, and the turbo specs are pieced together and tailored to the certain customer's application. No mention of cost, or completeness of the kit... I sent them a message back asking how much a T76 kit would cost.... still waiting to hear.

Yes, it looks like a 2-rotor cast manifold with some weld els and an extra flange to feed the front rotor. The runners look like they are different lengths (not that I can talk, lol), and IMO that front runner is going to get stress cracks when the engine expands because they didn't use a 1-piece flange. Also, it doesn't look like there is enough hose and pipe for both a coolant feed/return and oil feed/return, so I hope they aren't going to unleash a dry bearing housing on the public. The DP isn't pre-bent, and I have no idea where that wastegate pipe is supposed to go, so it looks to me like this is a project in the works. I am thinking that this picture is only a mock-up concept for the proposed product.

No, I never found any that weren't stupid wide. I just want 2, maybe 3" extra on each side... just so I can run some WIDE tires in the back.... Anyone know where to get something like that?

Wow, I didn't notice that until now!&nbsp Shows how much I pay attention!

$300 cast manifold, add another runner onto it - how much do they want for that???

If you roll your fenders you should be able to squeeze a 295 in there.

You can just roll the lip, but flaring it out gives you quite a bit of extra clearance. I had to flare mine a little because I'm running 275/35/18's on an 18x9 with a +30 mm offset. If I had gone with a slightly higher offset I may not have needed to roll the fenders at all. My tires are about 1/4"-1/2" away from the trailing arm.

What about the FEED/Run Racing Fender flares. I know they are hella expensive, but they dont look to be TOO extreme.

Check out Tri-Points flare kit. About a 1/4 the price of thr Run racing $6000 rip-off. Excellant quality and they maintain the original body lines. Might flare more than you are looking for though. Hope the pic I attached works.

I posted some info on fender flares, but I realized I was majorly hijacking the thread. The message has been moved to a new topic entitled "fender flares and wide body kits"
