Many 20B questions???

First of all hi to all you guys.
I am a newbie from Greece.
My brother and I are looking to start a serious project involving a Fiat X1/9.
We are thinking of putting a 20B engine in there with a 13B gearbox.
Everything is still at the research phase with no final decisions or aquisitions made yet.
I know that the car would require extensive modifying in order to make this work and we are happy to cut into the rear boot space if that would help.
We just think that given the cars light and well distributed weight and the flexibility and never ending power of the 20B,It should turn out to be something extrordinary if it can be done!!!!
We would love to get some input from you guys on the topic since you are the experts on the subject.
Please let us know your thoughts and suggestions.

get your hands on a core dry fit it and go from there. Rebuild it (since its a core) and pop it in. OR rebuild it and sell it if it wont fit.
another option.... measure the hell out of the bay and the engine.

your dropping about 15k on this if it fits in easy. W/o the cost of the engine and car IF you do all the work yourself.

good luck and the pics request as usual

I had an X1/9. The 20B will have to be longitudinally mounted. It's too long to try transverse mounting it. Good luck cutting into the car to fit the 20B.
