looking for 20b motor or eccentric shaft
Any one know where i can get a 20b eccentric shaft or a parts motor.
I would not want to pay more than $2000 but am not looking for a complete motor, just all the main pieces and does not have to run. A blown, leaky high mileage motor would do fine. Just want the shaft, bolts, stationary gears and maybe the rotors.
I would also settle for just a shaft in good condition.

no promises
I thought I saw one floating around at one of the local boneyards that was blown, I will go look this weekend and if its still there, I will ask to see if they will part the motor out (highly doubtful) either way I will contact you if I find one, Why don't you just get a good one to start with?

been rebuilt, low miles, good compression etc.

Thanks, i would appreciate it greatly.
I am going to try to screw 1000 hp out of it and want all new internals and housings so buying one in good shape would be pretty much a waste of money after replaceing 75% of the motor.
I mainly need a shaft in good shape and possibly the rotors as a bonus!

If you would have asked a week ago there was a new one on yahoo still in the box with a buy it now of 65,000Y. Nobody boubght it. There's also supposidly the jgtc spare motor with dry sump that also just ended with no bids. It was 500,000Y starting bid with no reserve.

Even though the car is not working yet i plan to start collecting parts to build a spare.
With the high HP goals i have, i am sure i will need an extra motor to keep the rotation going without as much down time.

Plates are still available from Mazda Comp. Go with low compression rotors (series 4). They're easy to find and come by. Purchase one of the forged 20B e-shafts from NZ. I think GURU carries them and they're probably right around $2K. I'd also consider contacting CLR Motorsports. Carlos may have some of what you're looking for lying around, not to mention tons of 20B experience.305-970-1774.

S4's are, as Guitarjunkie28 said, heavier. They're also thicker castings and thus stronger. Lower compression ratio than the S5 and up rotors as well. They will work with the right fore/aft counterweights or by having the S4 rotors lightened to 20B-spec weight.

He's still working on the website. Hopefully it'll be up shortly. There will be lots of other neat items on the web page besides the rotors, stuff you've never seen before and stuff I'm not even allowed to mention!
