Just how fast is a NA 20B FD???

I searched and found nothing so help me out. I figured I could reduce the reliability and overheating issues of a 13B-REW but maintain similar power by going with an NA 20B...just how fast is an FD with a NA 20B? Is it even worth it after all the work is done or would I just be better off running the 13B-REW? A few guys have mentioned that the 20B swap is not worth it unless it's turbo, but my question is just how fast is an NA 20B with exhaust, intake, all those "NA" mods compared to a stock or lightly modded 13B-REW? I'm mainly looking into this for reliability reasons since keeping things NA has a higher chance of running longer without problems. Those with NA 20B in their FD or FC, help me out!

well a lot of 13B-REW that I've seen run extremely hot and also tend to blow their engines (apex seals) earlier than normally aspirated rotory engines and needing a rebuild more often. Sorry I probably don't know what I'm talking about because I've never owned an FD...I only hear horror stories about them. My non turbo FC on runs like clock work...no problems whatsoever and so I was just curious based on my experience with my FC that doing a 20B and keeping it NA would have the same reliability but put out the power of a 13B-REW without the associated complications from a turbo engine.

well you'd need to answer Ted's questions, but chances are if you're having cooling issues with an -REW, you'll have cooling issues with any rotary, 13B, 20B or whatever. get your cooling system up to snuff and it won't be an issue. for the -REW's it's known that the cooling system needs to be upgraded whether or not you have more performance in mind.

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say that a properly maintained FD with the stock engine in it will have LESS problems than some frankenstein 20B NA that someone puts together. Let's face it, swapping the engine means a LOT of custom work. Every little piece could "go wrong" unless you're very careful and really do good work.

yea you could make loads of power with a pp 20b..... but you'd get really crappy gas mileage... after hearing RE-A's though.... man, it'd be worth it!

the nice thing about the turbo on the 3 rotor is it makes it quiet.
my 2 rotor with open exhaust is stupid loud! i cant imagine how loud a 3 rotor na
making good power would be!
