JC Cosmo - 4sale in the USA
JC Cosmo - 4sale in the USA
Found this while doing an e-bay search. Registration may be hard but not impossible. Getting the engine to replace it may be easier.
Even if its for the "show scene" this is an oppurtunity for an serious rotorhead.
Here is the E-bay link
http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?...&category=6316
Cant do it the old way as this "New thread" page doesn't have the option for any attachments anymore.
There is just 4-days to go until it expires. Starting from this posting date

Welp.. was looking in the Florida DOT stuff last night...
No workie for the Cosmo to be imported to Florida.
You can import it for Race ONLY temp or permanent.. but not as a street car. They have a nice big list of cars that are eligible to register here in Florida..... Cosmo isnt on the list.
ALTHOUGH...... Now that I am looking at it while getting ready to link it.... I THINK that if it has automatic restraints (IE passive Setabelts like the 91ish RX did.. the mouse track things I HATE) it may be able to be imported under code VSA-80.
And this is a US importing list.. not just for Florida...

Even if it looks kosher to state agencies, if for some reason the Federal DOT agency comes knocking on your door, you'd get slapped with large fines and the vehicle confiscated.
The car is NOT okay'd to be legally imported into the U.S. according to FEDERAL D.O.T. regulations, period.
You think Skyline GT-R's can be legally brought into the U.S.?
MotorEX got nailed recently...
