Hp before machining required

Has the HP mark moved that required lots of expensive machining. Now with the common availability of quality material bolts and solid one piece dowels has the bar been raised slightly higher. Sorry if it should be more of a boost related discussion.I have my 20b in parts and reviewing mods required. Power level aiming for - around 500 atw, boost hopefully down in the teens with BW sxe line of turbo (not purchased yet).
From searching pinning has been discussed around 500hp but most discussions are usually 13b based. Is more info required.. Cheers

I had only searched 20b forum for info, but saw this link in the current forum discussion
https://www.rx7club.com/naturally-as.../#post12256122
This gave me a lot of the answers I was looking for. I had not thought about the cons that come with the Pro's with regard to bigger studs, more dowels etc that were highlighted in that discussion.
