Does Adam @ rotaryengine.com/REC provide quality 20b rebuild?

Does anyone have solid data that rotaryengine.com provides good quality 20b rebuild? I'm interested in going pretty far with their build options: most of their reliability/performance offerings including studding, oil mod, balance, possible combustion clearance with 8.8 rotors, etc. It's a shop located in Calgary. Adam is the owner/builder's name. He sounded like a knowledgeable guy on phone who said he builds multiple engines every week including pretty frequent 3 rotor builds. I figured there should be many on here who has his engine running in a car. I just wanted to know his build quality, communication, turnaround time, reliability, and whether the engine at least met your expectations for your particular setup. I would most value a real world feedback from members here much higher than everything else.

They did a good job on machining rotors and shipping exactly as promised. I have had a good experience with Adam in that regard.

Hate to be the only negative one here but my experience was horrible with Adam. He sold me a brand new alternator relocation bracket for fd with missing parts. I paid alot for it and ended up screwed at the end of the transaction. Asked him to fix it and he sent me the wrong part. I dont know what to say, I did feel like he was quick to take my money but not fix his wrong doing. Of course this is only a reflection of his business practice not service work like rebuilds.

thanks guys for both pos and neg reports.I bought stuff from him before, and that went well. was curious about his engine builds. I find it odd there aren't any members here who had their engines built by them though. they sounded very busy pumping out engines after engines. I figured most rx7 owners would be on this forum!

I had a couple affairs with Adam.
In my opinion he is a self righteous uncle tom!
But he stands for quality nonetheless.
